  • Don't tray to take some dresses and valuables;
  • If door is hot don't open it because it means that fire rave behind the doors. After opening of doors fire will get in a room in seconds. Closed doors will serve as screen from fire and protect you until arrive of rescuers;
  • If doors is hot stop up chinks. You will use wet towels or blankets to do it. Useful will be sheets and dresses as well;

  • If you can't leave room try to make noise to inform neighbouring's about your location. It is better to do it using some objects than by shouting. You can turn the attention of neighbouring's by waving of towel or sheet;
  • If possible cover up nose and mouth by wet material. It will filter smoke and will be easy to break.

If door of room isn't hot:

  • Little bit open it and make sure that smoke and flames don't take please outside;
  • Close doors when you are leaving room because that it will decrease spreading of fire and will protect your property;

  • Don't try search for place of fire. Time lost during the search can be crucial for rescue;
  • Before the leaving of building don't try to find all relatives because that each minute is important;
  • Leave premises as quickly as possible, don't retard in stairways and corridors thinking what to do. You must know which corridor will end with dead back and try to avoid it. Always use only stairways in stead of elevator. Consider that all around will be panic therefore keep at handrail, which will help you to hold out if crowd take place in stairways;
  • If possible call to SFRS when you reached safe place. Don't consider as self evident, that it is already done by somebody else. Don't put down the receiver before fire fighters received all information important for them;
  • Don't return at home while fire fighters allow it.
If you can't leave building (flat), stay at it and wait for the instructions from outside.
